EXCITING TIMES AT POLMONTHILL
Polmonthill is now under community management. Through our new charity, Polmonthill Community Snowsports Centre, our community members have successfully saved the centre from closure. We took over the day-to-day management of the centre from Falkirk Council on 1st October 2024 and Polmonthill is now being operated by our charity and run by our community volunteers. Our Community Asset Transfer application to take full community ownership of the centre is expected to conclude in 2025.
As a charity we are dedicated to maintaining a high-quality, accessible, and affordable snowsports facility. We are committed to the ongoing maintenance of the slope and enhancing the facilities available for snowsports so that we can continue to offer ski and snowboarding instruction for the local community.
Our classes range from total beginner ski and boarding lessons to advanced lessons and race coaching for some of our more experienced skiers. We also have regular tubing sessions – all of which can be booked directly on our website.
More than ever, we now need the community to get involved and come and enjoy the slope. We are also looking for community members to volunteer and join us in running Polmonthill. Please get in touch if you can help or want more information about volunteering.
